A Great First Meeting!
The first meeting of the BTES Brick Builders was AMAZING! We had over 60 kids from Kindergarten to 6th Graders. Today we took on the Lego Creator Challenge. Click here to see and vote for our creations in the gallery. (If you search for "BTES" or "BTESLegoClub" in the sidebar it should pull up. The pictures are pending and hopefully will be up tomorrow sometime.)
Our next meeting is Thursday, November 21st. We will be building and testing vehicles. I can't wait to see what our Lego Engineers create!

A New Club at BTES
I have exciting news for all of the students at Belle Terre Elementary School... We are starting a new club just for you! Do you like building things, solving problems, working together, being creative and challenging yourself? Then this club is just for you!
Join the BTES Brick Builders as we build a better tomorrow one brick at a time! The club will meet before school from 7:30-8:30 a.m. in the media center. This STEM club is for all students K-6 and is FREE! The club sponsor is Mrs. Phillips and the BTES Brick Builders is a join venture of Belle Terre Elementary School and the Flagler County Home Builders Association.
We will be using Lego Bricks for most of our activities. We are lucky enough to have a collection of Lego Bricks at school, but are always looking for more! If you, or anyone you know, have any Lego Bricks you no longer use please consider donating them to Belle Terre Elementary School. We are looking of all sizes of Lego Bricks and can assure you they will be put to good use!
